Phil Pemberton co-founded Pemberton Stewart with partner Aaron Stewart in 2007. Phil services a core group of clients, including tier-one investment banks, multi-billion AUM hedge funds and regional banks. He has a track record of completing strategic senior mandates at C-suite level, global and regional head level. Phil also drives the membership and connectivity of Pemberton Networks.
Aaron co-founded Pemberton Stewart in 2007 with Phil and spent 6 years building the global fixed income and commodities practices. After a very enjoyable and productive 15 years in executive search Aaron switched his focus to education in 2013, buying British boarding school Boundary Oak. As a non-Exec Director at Pemberton Stewart Aaron offers enthusiastic counsel to support the ongoing success of the firm he is very proud to have co-founded.
Byron Rienstra joined Pemberton Stewart in 2017 as CEO, and moved to the role of Chairman in 2019. Prior to joining Pemberton Stewart, Byron was HR Director for Functions and Structural Reform at Barclays. Before that, he was Group Head of Talent, Learning and Culture at Standard Chartered Bank. Byron is also the lead facilitator and provocateur within Pemberton Networks.
Chief Executive Officer
Andrew Westmacott leads Pemberton Stewart’s Global Markets' practice. Since joining the firm in 2009 he has been responsible for overseeing and executing significant, senior assignments across various facets of Fixed Income globally. His expertise includes credit, rates and FX, across sales, trading, structuring, quant and research groups in Asia, the UK and the US.
Tom Gregory-Smith heads our Global Banking practice, Tom specializes in sector and country coverage, debt and equity capital markets (including loans and financing), M&A and corporate finance. He has successfully recruited for all levels of senior management over the past eight years and has been consistently ranked highly in the Asiamoney head hunter polls.
Will Brocks is a Managing Director in our Global Markets practice. He brings more than 10 years of recruitment experience to the team, covering senior FIC trading, sales and structuring mandates in Asia, Europe and the US. Prior to joining Pemberton Stewart in 2014, Will ran the global markets practice for a UK-based boutique search firm in both London and Singapore.
William Brocklehurst runs the Global Commodities practice. He leads and executes senior front office searches for trading houses, financial institutions and industrials across Asia, Europe and the US. William joined Pemberton Stewart in Asia and has been integral in establishing the firm as the commodities search leader for the region, while managing our Singapore office. Prior to joining Pemberton Stewart, William worked for a finance recruitment firm in Sydney, Australia.
Srihari Raman is a Director in the firm's Global Markets practice. He has extensive experience across Asia Pacific and has successfully executed mandates in Fixed Income trading, sales and structuring. Prior to joining Pemberton Stewart, Srihari was based out of Mumbai where he worked with a boutique executive search firm.
Georgina Taylor is an Associate Director for our Global Commodities team based in Singapore. Prior to joining Pemberton Stewart, Georgina worked for a Global Executive Search Firm based in Sydney, specialising in C-Suite Financial Services, Financial Officers and CEO & Board placements.
Harriet King is an Associate Director for our Global Markets Practice. Harriet has previous experience with a global recruitment agency in London where she was a specialist consultant covering Market and Quantitative Risk for investment banking and asset management clients.
Tony Wilkey is a Director in the firm’s Global Banking Practice. Previously Tony was running investment banking coverage for Asia at a listed global recruitment firm where he built a strong regional track record delivering searches in M&A, Capital Markets, and Coverage Banking for his clients. Prior to this he had also spent several years in a similar capacity in New York, leading searches for a range of international banking, private equity, and hedge fund clients.
